I would have loved to spend a whole weekend lounging there, listening to Lana Del Rey and drinking martinis, pretending I am in Bergdorf Blondes (one of my favourite books). The White House Hotel itself is absolutely stunning, and the building stands beautiful and tall on the oceanfront in Biloxi/Gulfport. With the white columns, this hotel really is a grand dame, and the lobby and bar area follows suit. The interior is clean and classic (a word I can’t stop using in reference to the hotel), and I knew right away that I needed to get my hands on a martini and sit down on one of the couches by the window (I managed to do so within an hour). I checked into the White House just after my stay at Margaritaville Biloxi, and between these two hotels you’ll have all your bases covered in Biloxi, MS. Where the Margaritaville is fun, playful and entertaining, the White House is classic, sophisticated and relaxing.
